The Facility tour/class
Every Saturday 2 pm
First, about our facility. We just outside the city limits surrounded by Douglas fir trees and filled with several visual attractions (geese, ducks, peacocks, chickens and many of their babies). The scenery is always changing and we are always adding on in one way or another. Our facility is open for business 7 days a week, but we do not have the time to tour on a daily basis. Saturday is our primary day for worm sales and other product pick up, we have set aside time on this day at 2 pm for anyone who would like to know more about vermicompost, setting up a redworm compost or a redworm business and we can answer just about any question you can come up with about all types of compost.
In the warmer season you can see the benifits of our composting in the health of our garden.
- During the tour I will be giving you as much information about composting as I can along with answering any questions that come up.
- The tour/class is 45+ minutes.
No appointment for the tour necessary, just be here before 2 pm. The cost is $7 per person/$15 for the family or group up to 5.
Please no small children unless they are well disciplined. We do not tolerate anyone teasing or chasing of the animals. There are many different birds loose on the property and several other farm animals. We have them for all to enjoy, but if this rule is broke your group will be asked to leave.
We also contract out this class within a 50 mile radius of our location. The cost for the class is $75 and $1 per mile one way. This charge is good for any size group up to 100 people. We will bring class material and visual aids.
To contract this class please contact us for date availability.
